About Aquaventure Waterpark
Aquaventure occupies 140 acres, boasting a mini “city” with numerous pools, attractions, and recreation areas. There is a large 1 kilometer private beach where you can sunbathe or swim. Here you’ll find over 30 rides and water slides across three towers (from family-friendly to extreme), and a bunch of experiences:
- Extreme slides. On the most extreme water slide at Aquaventure, you can reach speeds of up to 37 miles per hour (60 kilometers per hour). There are other extreme rides, like Neptune’s Tower, the tallest water slide at 85 feet high (27 meters), or the Poseidon’s Revenge — a 90 feet (28 meter) free-fall slide.
- Dolphin Lagoon and kids’ area. On the grounds, you’ll find a dolphin lagoon, a bay with playful sea lions, a 1-mile river for rafting, and a Splashers Island children’s area with plenty of mazes.
- Aquarium. In addition to rides, at the water park area, you can visit local aquarium that houses over 65,000 marine creatures, including sharks, rays, fish, and coral.
- Shops. At the water park entrance, you’ll find shops, including those selling Aquaventure branded souvenirs.
- After beach day, you can dine at local restaurants.

Within the Atlantis hotel complex, close to the water park, you’ll find Noby by the Beach and White Beach Club.
If you take a taxi, nearby you can find another popular beach club on Palm Jumeirah Island — Soluna Beach Club.

It’s best to visit the water park on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday to avoid the large crowds (like on weekends). Moreover, it’s better to plan your visit in the morning to avoid the heat of the day.

Aquaventure Waterpark rules
- The whole park has lots of security spots and lifeguards, so you and your kids will be safe here.
- If you are with kids, keep in mind that all guests under 12 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
- Note that if you are with kids, most Aquaventure attractions require guests to be taller than 3’12” (or 120 cm). But the park also offers attractions, areas, and slides designed specifically for younger children.
