Dubai, the globally renowned hub of leisure, glamorous beaches, and bright summer sun, offers tourists from around the world countless beaches and clubs where they can have fun and relax. Recently, another beach has opened here that is worth adding to your list of places in the United Arab Emirates.

Dubai Islands Beach is located next to the Centara Mirage Beach Resort Dubai on the beaches of Dubai Islands. Here you will find pleasant and clean sand, the opportunity to do all sorts of water sports, and a great place for a stroll. Additionally, the gentle waters of the Persian Gulf will allow you to enjoy the sea in a peaceful atmosphere, plus qualified lifeguards will ensure your safety and the safety of your loved ones.

In addition to the beach itself with its clean and fine sand, the beach is equipped with convenient walking paths where you can comfortably stroll or jog alone or in company. Along the pedestrian area, there are benches and various greenery planted for the additional comfort of the visitors. This new beach offers all the necessary amenities, including comfortable and modern toilets and shower cabins, so you won’t regret coming here.

It is also worth noting that Dubai Islands Beach is a great choice for those traveling with their pets. There is a separate area where you can walk and swim with your dog or another water-friendly creature.

Dubai Islands Beach is also a fantastic spot for plane enthusiasts. The beach is located near Dubai International Airport, making it an excellent location for taking photos and videos of passenger, cargo, and other aircraft that frequently take off and land at the Dubai Airport. Please note that the noise from passing airplanes is quite common here, so if you prefer tranquility, it’s better to consider another beach located further away from the airport.

How to get to Dubai Islands Beach?

Dubai Islands Beach is located on the islands near the mainland part of Dubai, so the best way to get there is by taxi. You can order either a water taxi to the Souk Al Marfa Marine Transport Station dock, and from there, reach Dubai Islands Beach on foot or by taxi.

There is also a bus service, SM1, on the island, so there is an option to use public transportation as well.

However, renting a car or using a taxi service like Uber or Careem would be the best, fastest, and most comfortable option. It may not be the cheapest mode of transportation, but the speed and comfort are definitely worth it.

Dubai Islands Beach opening hours

Dubai Islands Beach is a public beach, which means it is open 24/7 and free for everyone. There is no entrance fee or charge for renting sun loungers and umbrellas. Additionally, there is free parking available. This makes Dubai Islands Beach a fantastic place for relaxation for those who want to save money while still enjoying their time in a beautiful location.

Although the beach is open around the clock, access to the sand is prohibited after sunset. Swimming is also not allowed during the dark hours of the year, as lifeguards do not work at night. However, you can still walk along the pedestrian part of the beach, which is nicely illuminated at night.

Dubai Islands Beach restaurants

Dubai Islands Beach is a relatively new leisure spot in Dubai located in a part of the city that is not yet fully developed. Because of this, there aren’t many restaurants, shops, or cafes here yet. If you prefer to relax where there are restaurants right on the beach, it’s better to choose another option. However, you can bring your own food here.

Note. Campfires on the beach are not allowed, so having a beach barbecue here won’t be possible. Plan to bring along other food items that don’t require an open flame for cooking.

But even if you didn’t bring anything with you, you won’t go hungry at Dubai Islands Beach. Not far from the beach is the Sands Beach Club restaurant at Centara Mirage Beach Resort Dubai. It’s a large and spacious restaurant where you can have lunch or dinner at a relatively affordable price.

The price for a single dish here ranges from 50 to 150 AED ($13-39). We recommend trying the Hamour Fillet with steamed broccoli, cauliflower puree, and lemon butter sauce, as well as their signature burger. They offer both meat-based and vegan/vegetarian options, so everyone can find something to enjoy.
