Drawback of Jebel Ali Beach
A notable drawback of this beach is that you won’t find here any showers, changing rooms, or toilets. Also, the area may not be suitable for people with physical limitations requiring extra amenities for access (Palm West Beach and JBR Beach are friendly for disabled people).
Rules at Jebel Ali
- If you like picnics and camping, you should visit this place. The beach area is less crowded most of the time, and the barbecuing is allowed (but you’ll need to bring your own barbecue equipment).
- You can also bring your dog with you, pets are allowed here.
- Caravan camping is allowed on the beach, but you need to fill Request for NOC for Caravan Camping first on Dubai Municipality website.
Tip. The Jebel Ali area is where you’ll find the Lego Dubai theme park and water park.

Water sports
This area has ideal natural conditions for surfing and water sports, you will meet a lot of kiteboarders and surfers here. But it’s better to bring your own equipment since the options for renting here are limited.
Chloe Blue Scuba Diving
If you are into scuba diving, this part of Dubai is known for its corals. At Chloe Blue Center, situated right on the beach, you can book a scuba dive or take a lesson with certified diver (from courses for children to Advanced Open Water courses).
Blue Ocean Sports
Situated directly on the beachfront, the Blue Ocean Sports Center offers equipment for surfing, kayaking, paddleboarding, and more, you can both rent it or purchase. If you like to catch waves, the club provides training with an option to hire a personal instructor.
Worth noting that the school holds a certificate as an affiliated center with the International Kiteboarding Organization (IKO).

Near the beach you will find Dubai’s well-known racing track, MiniGP. It not only hosts bike races but also offers opportunities to learn motorcycle riding. The track has fostered a vibrant community, attracting racers who participate in weekly events.
Horse riding
If you like riding horses, there are JA Equestrian Centre stables 5-minutes’ walk away from the beach (on the territory of the JA The Resort hotel).
