SAL Beach Club Dubai is an exclusive beach club and restaurant located on the premises of the Burj Al Arab Hotel in Dubai (the club is situated on an additional deck connected to the hotel).

The beach club offers two pools: the Family pool and the Adults-only Infinity pool. One pool is filled with saltwater, while the other contains freshwater. The large pool measures 260 x 30 ft (80 x 10 meters), while the smaller one is 130 x 30 ft (40 x 10 meters). The large pool includes a separate 10 by 20 feet (3 by 6 meters) jacuzzi area.

SAL Beach Club opened in 2020 and has quickly become a favorite spot for the luxury poolside experience.

The sun loungers and beach furniture at SAL Beach Club Dubai boast top-notch quality, crafted by Parasol Furniture. However, some sun loungers are fixed in place, which may be inconvenient when you wish to shift them into the shade.

There are two relaxation areas at SAL Beach Dubai where guests can bask in the sun or relax in the shade.

Club visitors can also take advantage of SPA and fitness center services.

How to get to SAL Beach Club Dubai

You can reach SAL Beach Club Dubai in different ways, depending on how you want to travel and your budget:

By car

Direct access: The Burj Al Arab has its own dedicated entrance for guests of SAL Beach Club. Look for the Burj Al Arab Jumeirah – Al Wasl Road entrance on Google Maps and follow the signs for “SAL Beach Club.” A valet parking service is available.

Taxi: Dubai taxis are readily available and offer a convenient way to reach the Burj Al Arab. Inform the driver you’re heading to SAL Beach Club, and they will take you to the designated entrance.

If there are no taxis around, use Uber or Careem on your phone to call a taxi. Those apps are available on Android and iOS. Choose the Burj Al Arab Jumeirah – Sal Beach Club drop-off point.

By public transport

Dubai Metro: The nearest metro station is Mall of the Emirates on the Red Line. However, you will need a taxi or ride-sharing service for the final leg to the Burj Al Arab. If you enjoy strolling, you can walk from the nearest metro station to the club. However, it will take approximately 40-50 minutes.

Bus: Use buses number 8, 81, 88, N55, or X28 and disembark at Wild Wadi 1 bus station near the Wild Wadi Water Park or the Burj Al Arab Hotel stations.

Consider booking your stay at SAL Beach Club Dubai in advance, especially during peak season. This place is a popular one, so better to reserve a table a few days before. Also, allow for some travel time since Dubai traffic can be quite heavy during rush hours.

Upon reaching the hotel grounds, you have the option to use a small buggy to get to the beach club if you prefer not to walk.

SAL Restaurant is open daily from 12:30 PM to 5:30 PM and 7 PM to 10:30 PM, giving guests plenty of time to enjoy their lunch and dinner in the luxury atmosphere.

Pools are accessible from 10 AM to 7 PM.

Here’s what you can expect when booking a spot at SAL Beach Club:

Pool Access

Beach access from 10:00 to 19:00 costs 500 AED per person ($136) on weekdays or 700 AED ($190) on Fridays and weekends. Half of the cost is redeemable on food and beverages.

It’s important to mention that the sun loungers in the first rows near the pool are exclusively reserved for guests of the Burj Al Arab Hotel.

Cabana packages at SAL Beach Club

For a more secluded experience, there are three Cabana Packages to choose from:

Luxury Cabana

Comfortable loungers under umbrellas, complemented by a mini-bar, assorted nuts, and other snacks. Suitable for up to three people.

  • From Monday to Thursday, the price is 1200 AED for two people ($326), with half of this amount redeemable on food and beverages. If you have three people, an additional 400 AED ($108) is required.
  • On Fridays and weekends, the Luxury Cabana costs 2000 AED ($544), with 600 AED ($163) redeemable on food and beverages.

SAL Beach Club offers several options for relaxation depending on your company, budget, or preferences.

Royal Cabana

A regal retreat in a separate area for you and your friends just steps away from the restaurant and pools. The Royal Cabana accommodates up to 10 people.

  • Weekdays: 3500 AED for six people ($953), with 1500 AED available for food and beverages ($408).
  • Friday and Weekend: 7000 AED for six people ($1906). Of this amount, 1500 AED ($40) can be spent on food and beverages.

If you wish to bring an additional four guests, there is an extra charge of 400 AED per person ($108).

Panoramic Cabana

The most luxurious relaxation area with a panoramic view of the bay.

  • Weekdays: 7000 AED for six people ($1906), with 2000 AED available for food and beverages ($544).
  • Friday and Weekend: 10000 AED for six people ($2722), with the same amount allocated for food and beverages.

Similar to the Royal Cabana, up to 10 people can gather here, with an additional charge of 400 AED per person ($108) for each guest beyond six.

Important! All club guests must be 12 years or older, and reservations must be paid 48 hours in advance of the visit.

Note that all cabanas at SAL Beach Club are equipped with air conditioning.

SAL Beach Club Dubai isn’t just about stunning views and luxurious vibes; its menu is delicious dishes from the Mediterranean, with a focus on fresh seafood and the culinary heritage of Spain and Portugal (the name SAL translates to “salty” in Spanish). From the delicate seabass Isolana with olive oil and herbs to the flavorful grilled octopus with paprika, SAL’s main courses showcase the finest seafood, cooked to perfection. The restaurant has a special menu for vegetarians.

In the evenings, a special SAL Glow illumination is turned on at sunset, creating a unique atmosphere for dinner. Guests have the option to dine at tables located both outside and inside the restaurant.

Here are some of our recommendations:

  • Prawns Cooked in Roasted Tomato Sauce: Feta cheese, capsicum, and tomato sauce with prawns for AED 120 ($32).
  • King Crab & Homemade Trenette Pasta: Fresh basil pesto, tomato, espelette chili, and balsamic with king crab and homemade trenette pasta for AED 270 ($74).
  • Roast Beef: Yorkshire pudding, roasted vegetables, and mashed potatoes with roast beef for AED 280 ($76).
  • Rigatoni Manchego: Candied tomato, manchego cheese, and fresh basil with rigatoni pasta for AED 130 ($35).

SAL Beach Club restaurant offers a wide range of food and beverages, including Mediterranean cuisine dishes prepared by well-known Italian chef Paolo Mannis. Additionally, there is a wine and cocktail bar on site.

Typically, since the restaurant is expensive, expect to spend around 1000 AED ($272) for dinner for two persons here.

SAL Beach Club Restaurant also offers additional packages:

  • SAL Summer Menu: a special three-course lunch menu set with carefully crafted meals from Spain and Portugal. It is available from Monday to Friday from 12:30 PM to 5:30 PM for 195 AED ($53) per person. The menu includes pan-seared chicken, red snapper filet, a selection of tapas, and desserts.
  • Private Cabana Dining Experience: a private experience for up to four people available daily from 8 PM to 12 AM. You will get a table full of Mediterranean cuisine. It costs 8000 AED ($2178) per cabana with 5000 AED ($1361) redeemable on food and beverage.
