Wild Wadi Water Park is located near the Burj Al Arab, and its name comes from the desert river Wadi. The venue occupies 14 acres of land, and is the second largest waterpark in Dubai (although it is not as large as Atlantis Aquaventure).

At Wild Wadi, you’ll find an Arabian vibe, access to the beach, thermal pools, more than 30 attractions and slides, and a bunch of restaurants and cafes.
Safety here is good, you’ll see many lifeguards throughout the park.
Kids activities at Wild Wadi
If you are with family, there’s Juha’s Dhow and Lagoon areas for kids, with slides, water guns, climbing frames, fountains, swimming pools, and more, and Juha’s Journey, a man-made river. Your kids can enjoy special events such as face painting festivals.
Shopping at Wild Wadi
If you forget something, there is a shop on the park grounds. Here you can buy towels, beach wear, souvenirs and gifts.

Rules in Wild Wadi
- Note that if your kids are less than 1.1 meters (3 feet 7 inches) tall, they may be not allowed to use some water slides and attractions.
- Smoking is generally prohibited on the premises of the park, but you can use three designated smoking areas.
- You must bring a valid ID to enter the water park.
- The waterpark is not wheelchair accessible.
- If you are with a dog, note that pets are not allowed in the park.

Notes
- If you are a guest staying at all hotels within Jumeirah Hotels network (including the Burj Al Arab Hotel), you will get a free entry to a water park.
- If you are with kids, keep in mind that children under 3 years old can enter for free.
- Prices at the gate are slightly higher, so you can purchase your tickets online.
Towels and lockers
You can bring your own towel, that’s allowed. If you forgot or would like to rent one, it will cost you 39 AED ($11).
If you need lockers, you can rent them separately from 48 AED ($13) to 90 AED ($25).

Private cabana package
You can also choose the Private Cabana Package. This includes a private cabana with sunbed (up to 8 guests), Fast Pass access to popular rides and the lazy river, a towel and a free drink for each guest. You can deliver food from restaurants within the park right to your cabana. It will cost you from 2100 AED ($572).
Dining options at Wild Wadi Waterpark
Speaking of food, you will find several restaurants at Wild Wadi. Surfer’s Burgers offers delicious burgers, Firecrust Pizza offers pizzas, and Dhow & Lagoon Kitchen offers salads, pasta, and other dishes. If you want to grab a bite to eat before heading back to the water, the Wave View Cafe offers hot dogs, ice cream, tacos, and a variety of drinks.
Note that you can’t bring your food (and water bottles) from outside.
Our tips at Wild Wadi
- Wild Wadi is popular (especially in the summer), so we recommend you arrive early to avoid lines at the entrance.
- We also recommend visiting the park on weekdays rather than weekends to avoid crowds.
- The waterpark is located on a large area, so you should wear comfortable shoes suitable for waterside activities.
